Fed Soc @ Ole Miss

The Ole Miss Chapter of the Federalist Society is the premire organization on campus for law students who are interested in delving deeper into the philosophical, political and legal ideas which undergird the legal order in the United States.
We regularly host a variety of speakers and events. Our chapter's goal is to increase the free and profitable discussion of law and public policy outside the classroom.

Speaker Events
The Federalist Society is renowned for bringing great speakers from across the country to Ole Miss. Usually, these speakers will participate in a panel or debate a faculty member, or the speaker's presentation will be followed by a commentary from a faculty member. Each event is followed by a Q&A session.
These are not only open to everyone, but attendance by people from all parts of the ideological spectrum is encouraged to foster discussion and the exchange of ideas.
Additionally, almost all of our speaker events are accompanied by plenteous food and drink.

Roundtables
Our Roundtable events are dinners at which several students and a few conservative-minded professors spend some having ad hoc discussions of relevant issues and getting to know one another over a nice meal. This is a great chance to get to know your fellow classmates and some of your professors outside of the law school.
